Tiger 1 regulary fields in public displays a 'Verwundetennest' which is the first stage of identfying combat wounds in the field of battle. Of course the medical aspect of a real Kompanie, goes much larger, all combatants that have been identified by the Sanni personnel would then be taken to the Truppenverbandplatz which was set up out of small arms fire here patients would be placed into a variety of categories depending on wounds ready for transport. The next medical treatment would perhaps be at the Hauptverbandplatz, set up anywhere up to 10km near to the regimental HQ, and would conduct amputations, stemming the flow of blood, the hopeless cases are treated with morphium to soothe the pain. Soldiers may be transferred from the Truppenverbandplaty to the Feldlazarett for patients that need emergency surgical treatment which need a short post-operation recovery time. lastly a solider could be classified to the Kriegslazarett whereby treatment of brain, head and bone shots would be undertaken. We have members that actively re-create the Verwundetennest and am inthe process of building a Truppenverbandplatz wherby members can either be 'Medics' 'Nurses' or indeed 'Field Police' to ensure order is maintained in such a hectic environment, akin to the real situations that thesesituations prevoked. The Verwundetennest was set up by medical soldiers of the platoon right behind the frontline ( ~100m). Stretcher bearers (Krankenträger), auxiliary stretcher bearers (Hilfskrankenträger) or comrades recover the wounded and bring them to the nest which is equipped with first aid material. After this first treatment the wounded soldier is transported to the Truppenverbandplatz (TVP) or a collecting point for light wounded soldiers.
